not much to add to this thread, except I fondly remember a cousin & a friend both owning plus/4's.. great memories of playing Treasure Island and Icicle Works on their machines. In fact I always preferred the Plus/4 version of Icicle works (compared to the c64) due to the music.. To me it was better somehow.
Time to fire up YAPE again. |

That doesn't sound like a good idea since you're dissolving what makes the contacts work. Clean it with something dry instead that doesn't apply too much wear on the contacts. |
