mancity, do you have a HDD in your A1200? If so, why don't you copy over the HD installed copy?
Install it via WinUAE then transfer the files over to your A1200. |

Moving stuff from PC to Amiga really is a doddle once you know how. Once you know how, it leaves you with endless possibilities including having ALL WHDLoad games and the ability to transfer adf's to floppy.
Do you have a PC compact flash reader? |

If I took my CF out of the Amiga and hooked it up to the laptop, can I simply move the downloaded file across. Hook my Amiga back up and install it? I imagine it wont be that easy? |

Not "quite" that easy unfortunately, you have to read the CF card via WinUAE. Once you've done it once tho it's easy. Grab yourself a CF reader then read this post.
Now, back on topic and to answer your previous question. Premier Manager 3 is a great little game but I have never found/played a game that has me going back to it again and again as Championship Manager has and still does. |

My laptop doesn't have a CF slot so iv'e ordered a USB CF reader off Amazon
Would I need to download a Whdload version of the game, or just the normal ADF copy? |

Im a premier manager fan. If you are not to keen on it at the moment starting off in the conference, try getting hold of the "premier manager multi-editor" It lets you create game saves so you can start off with for example Man city in the premier league. Kinkladze and Rosler are briliant for them by the way.

There isn't a WHDLoad version of the game. Best thing to do is get hold of the ipf images, install it via WinUAE then transfer to CF. If you'd like I can install it then upload the files for you?

If you are able to do this, and wouldn't mind, could you explain what I need to do with the file you upoload? Just to add, I haven't ever used WinUAE because I understand you need the WB ROM's from somewhere, but I do have Amiga Forever, the paid version, so I presume I could do the same as what's mentioned in that link for WinUAE? Has to be Player Manager. That game cost me not one but TWO girlfriends. Had no idea PM 2 ever came out, but I dropped off the Amiga scene before it's time (aforementioned girls became too alluring at that point!)

Premier Manager on the Amiga was a great series. Just avoid the temptation to try Championship Manager 2 and stick to the original CM series.
I couldn't resist recently and installed it on the Amiga, oh man! A big shout out to Championship Manager Italia as well. |

Can't believe what I'm seeing here.
Someone called "man city" helping someone with a Man United avatar. Truly, the Amiga is the great uniter! |
