Although this machine is not an Amiga, I consider it to be Amiga-related & I'm excited to have received my new toy in the post today:

Efika running MorphOS 2.1

Yeah, I know loads of people have them, but again, I'm, excited about my new toy

Looking forward to testing further...& further...& further!

Hmm, now to make/butcher a case...but can I afford another Pico PSU...maybe just go a Micro ATX case...can use 5&1/4" DVD drives then!

There's a pretty big community around this piece of hardware here, seen some pretty cases on the last Amizaduszki 2008 meself, and a few articles here, here and there on how to make your own.

Wow - if that is a sub - that is one big m/fker to have near your computers. I'm surprised your hard disks don't de-magnetize.

As for your new toy - it looks great. I never get tired of that little kid feeling when a new bit of kit arrives and I'm setting it up. I'm sure you feel the same about your Efika.

About your case problem, you may get in touch with Tcheko who made the EfikaZ case. I've got one and it's just great

EfikaZ looks nice indeed, but after conversion from Euros to AUD & then adding shipping...far too costly

You cannot purchase that case seperately & I got the Efika gear-for-gear through a trade.

I could not afford $375USD + shipping anyway.

Hiya Zetro!

The MorphOS-team website says the OS includes: "a high-performance Just-in-Time compiler that emulates the 68k family of processors and thereby allows to transparently execute legacy applications developed for the Commodore Ax00 series of computers."

I've been told however, that games which "bang hardware" don't work, but as for which games "bang" & which ones don't...although I don't even know what that means...most games "bang hardware" I assume?

Banging the Hardware, basically means Really Tight assembly that jumps all of the face of Custom Chip Registers to eek that extra speed out of them.

Instead of using software libraries to access chipset they instead bang the metal as it were using direct ASM commands.

as to which games, I fear there would be a few I am sure
