I don't have one (expensive suckers) but I'm not going to dump on e-bikes, they help people to skip on taking the car to work. Anything to get less cars on the road is a work of art in my eyes.

Oh I agree. But keep them off the mountain bike trails, or if they are used, ban the posting of Strava times setting un-realistic top times on segments that no one else can touch. gggggrrrrrr

I too think the less cars on the road the better. I hate when I'm out for a blast in the Porsche and someone else is in my way on MY road :P

Yeah, I used to hate them, but have now realised they have opened the joy of cycling to people who didn't consider doing it before.

I just read about a study where they found out that e-bikers actually end up getting a tiny bit more exercise a week than regular cyclists, but of course the cyclists are in better shape overall. :-)
