Upgrading to kickstart 3 (Amiga 3000)

Hello,

I am considering to upgrade an A3000D that has kickstart 2.04 to kick 3, possibly to use OS 3.9. Premise:in the past I successfully upgraded several Amy with 3.0 to kick 3.1 and OS 3.9, so I know how to do it.
However I recently discovered that Cloanto has made new kickstart, called 3.X.

Is it better than the original 3.1 (in particular for the 3000D)?
To the aim of installing 3.9, is it better to use the C= 3.1, or the Cloanto 3.X ?

any opinion is welcome!

Stay away from 3.X. It will only cause trouble.
