Yeah, me too. And then I realize that Homm3 is more fun for some reason, and I start to play that in stead :/

Perhaps I should allow myself to finish the campaigns of Homm4 at least, just to experience the storyline.

Finished Half-life 2 - Episode 2. Lots of fun this one, plenty of diverse challenges (although you've seen them in one way or another in previous games). Now I can't wait for Episode 3, but no news yet Hope it will have a full game length this time...

Serious Sam special edition.

Okay it was cheap. But so is the value of "special edition" label if you ask me - it runs on Serious Engine 3 now, but do you really experience it!? Yeah some textures are of a higher resolution and the models have slight alterations... The real improvement must be in the networking part, I have to try that.

I've been going through my Xbox 360 games as i want to finish the ones i have before buying more!
Anyway, in the last few days i've managed to finish:

Mirror's Edge - A surprisingly decent game if you stick at it .
Gears of War - Good game but I don't think it's as good as people make it out to be
Gears of War 2 - Excellent game! So much better and bigger than the first one
Condemned 2 - Has it's weird, creepy, disturbing and gory moments... I enjoyed this one more than the first

I'm starting to list every game i complete over at ebay with more to come soon: http://shop.ebay.co.uk/powerpie5000/...&_trksid=p4340

Okay after playing it more I have to admit I was harsh in my judgement. It certainly contains some very nice improvements, like smoother gameplay and a far better balanced difficulty. But some of the monster models have seriously gone a step back in their looks, a bit of a shame that :s

Having a bash at Deja Vu II: Lost In Las Vegas!!. I enjoyed the first game on my A500 years ago but never got round to playing the sequel.

I'm also playing Dead or Alive 4 on the xbox 360... Hardest and most frustrating fighting game i've ever played!!

Currently playing (well, not right this second, clearly) Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 on the 360, which came out today. Absolutely diamond-hard to get to grips with. Give me a shout if anybody fancies a match...

Oblivion Deluxe - legal copy with every official expansion in existence. It may not be my favorite part of the series, but I've played it enough times now that it warrants a purchase at a fair price

And? What do you think?

Its one of those games where you do not expect the game to provide the fun to you - you have to go looking for it yourself. IMO of course.

And what that's supposed to mean? The 'plot' is much more obvious than in the other TES games and even compared to the 'on rails' jPRGs, it's not really hard to find your way through it. Of course that doesn't mean it's much fun that way, but I hardly see where else you found it to be more fun than in the (very) odd sidequest.

Very confusing, you almost make it look like you hate the game there I believe we had discussions before where I was flat out claiming to hate the game and you tried to convince me otherwise.

I mean that you have to treat it like a dungeons and dragons game - take on a role and play it in the (beautiful) sandbox that Bethesda provides you. If you expect the game to treat you to a fun gaming experience, in my personal opinion you'll never be satisfied as everything is basically shallow. The story, the dungeons, etc.

So take it for what it is - a sandbox. Lets see how far we can bend the rules
