Using 2 identical joysticks w/ WinUAE
Greetings fellow Amiga enthusiasts!
My name is Guybrush Three.... No really, I'm just another Amiga fan, 29 years old and living in Denmark. Well... enough about me... I just bought two "SPEED-LINK Competition Pro" USB joysticks, and I was really looking forward to play great two-player games on WinUAE (Super Cars II, North & South etc.). But as you guys might have guessed; I have a problem... After connecting my two gems, they both appear under Windows > Control Panel > Game Controllers by the name "SPEED-LINK Competition Pro". To make myself clear; the name "SPEED-LINK Competition Pro" appears twice. So far - so good. I jump into WinUAE, but in the list for "Mouse / Joystick Ports" (Port 0, and Port 1), the name "SPEED-LINK Competition Pro" only appears once. In other words; I can't choose it for both ports. It's like WinUAE can't distinguish between the two joysticks. Maybe beacuse they have the same default name? Now, how on earth am I gonna solve this problem? Help will be MUCH appreciated! Ohoy! |

2xUSB Competition Pros work fine here. ("USB 2A4K GamePad", older version?)
Check winuaebootlog.txt. Perhaps you have more than 8 connected input devices? (max currently supported) |
