It's a Knockout! 2010/11: Game Vote

It's a Knockout! 2010/11: Game Vote

Starts: 00:01 November 14
Finishes: 23:59 November 27

Yes, that time of year has come around already. The Super League takes a back seat to some exciting (I hope) knockout tournament action. (Banner above by mihcael)

Rules

Knockout rules are here. Please read this one...

Your first choice gets 5 points, second 4 pts, third 3 pts, fourth 2 pts, fifth 1 pt. Edited votes will be discounted. There is no double voting power for this competition.

Please only vote on one board - either EAB or Lemon. You can only vote once, and also it could cause confusion if you post your vote on both boards - it's easy for it to be counted twice by accident.

You can only vote for the 17 games played in the 2010 Super League:

Apidya
Lotus Turbo Challenge 2
Qwak
Tetris Pro
Atom Smasher
Project-X Special Edition
Nitro
Assassin Special Edition
Pinball Illusions
Virocop
Skidmarks
Super Hang-On
Uridium 2
Gods
Globdule
Pac-Mania
Fire & Ice

Extras

- Lemon thread

Also...

If you vote for Pinball Illusions please state which one of the three tables you would like to play (only one will be played due to time constraints).

For Super Hang-On, please vote for one difficulty level.

The game with the most points from the voting will be played in the qualifying round from December 5 for two weeks. The second-placed game will be played in the first round proper, and so on.

Anyone is welcome to vote, play and chat at any time. May voting commence...

graham, could we count a point for pinball illusions every time someone vote for one table because you will divide the number of point of a pinball game by 3 or by 4 ! if we are 9 who want to play pinball illusions it could obtain 3 votes each table and we won't play pinballs at all... i think it's not fair...
But you surely think about it already.
By the way, good knock out
and great screenshot, who did it ?

Votes for pinball illusions will be totalled together. If Pinball makes it up then we play the Pinball table with the most votes! Same goes for super hang-on and choosing the diffulculty!

And Yes, that screenshot is rather great!

3. Apidya
4. Skidmarks
5. Super Hangon (Hardest )

Edit: Graham, I have edited first choice only because I mistyped, I meant Nitro rather than Lotus, my brain was turned off when was typing.

Well that's it for the voting. 21 people voted in total, so hopefully we'll see all of them and more back for the tournament itself. The top five are...

1. Pinball Illusions - 36 (The top scoring table was Law 'n' Justice)
2. Nitro - 34
3. Lotus 2 - 33
4. Apidya - 28
5. Pac-Mania - 28

The schedule, therefore, will be as follows:

Dec 05 - Dec 18: Qualifying Round - Pinball Illusions (Law 'n' Justice)
Dec 19 - Jan 01: Round One - Nitro
Jan 02 - Jan 08: Quarter-Finals - Lotus 2
Jan 09 - Jan 15: Semi-Finals - Apidya
Jan 16 - Jan 22: 3rd Place/Final - Pac-Mania

If the numbers are low then Pac-Mania will drop out of this schedule (check the rules thread).

For those interested, the remaining positions were:

6. Gods - 27
7. Skidmarks - 24
8. Project-X Special Edition - 21
9. Assassin Special Edition - 14
10. Fire & Ice - 14
11. Super Hang-On - 13
12. Uridium 2 - 9
13. Qwak - 9
14. Tetris Pro - 9
15. Virocop - 7
16. Atom Smasher - 6
17. Globdule - 3

This can be a really interesting competition. I think that many good players might be excluded from it in its final stage
