so i think i've ruined indivision aga forever

after trying to be too clever, not really knowing what i was doing.

I had configered it, then I found that flash to rom tool. I used it, it made me select a file.. I can't even remember what file I chose, it was a guess. then it said it had flashed successfully and asked me to reboot the amiga. So I rebooted the amiga and now there's nothig coming up at all. the amiga works, but my flatscreen is moaning about there being no signal and it powers off automatically

I've tried rebooted about 20 times now. with my full time job i simply don't have enough hours in the day to be doing this

why O why did commodore never think to have a 'safemode' for the amiga. or i would no doubt have just booted itup in safemood and changed it.

You need to reflash it, .

Simply connect it via Composite video to your av on your tv, then reflash it with correct flash file for Indivision.
Thats the good thing about Indivision, if you flash it wrong, you can always fix it.

Whats it got to do with commodore, bet they didnt expect you to jam a mod in it and then mess the flash up on said mod, .

Hey lost_lemming, all is not lost!

What you need to do is connect to your TV via the RF output to get a display working which is not reliant on the flicker fixer, and run the flash program again, this time choosing the correct file.

Edit: Damn! Beaten to the post by FOL!

I think there needs to be an 8th deadly sin, which is basically about lazy bad guessing = pain in the future.
