This has taken rather longer than I anticipated but I hope a few people at least will be interested in this.
Over recent weeks, EAB member amigapd (who I am sure you all recall put together the excellent PD games ebook) has been helping out with loads of new graphics for Maxwell Mouse (as the game is currently known) and I am now slowly starting to incorporate these tiles into the existing map. There's still some stuff to be drawn and I have a lot of screens to redesign but it's great to get going again. I've attached a few photos taken from my Amiga running some of the game's early screens as it looks at the moment. |

Cheers everyone. Great to see there's interest in this and that people like how it's shaping up visually too. Chris (aka amigapd) will be really pleased and gain a lot of confidence from this I am sure - this is the first time he's ever drawn game graphics and is still getting to grips with Deluxe Paint

There'll be more to come in the next couple of weeks. There's still more stuff to be drawn and tweaked so nowhere near done but I will post more updates as and when |

Couple more screenshots for you I've now given the map a total makeover, it just needs to be checked over and things tweaked as necessary and probably some extra scenery included just to liven it up a bit but big progress made this weekend!

Some new scenery and some animated flaming torches have now been added (not that you can see the animation but at some point I will try and record a short video of the game). Some more enemies are being worked on, and I am hoping to get a nice title screen and other splash screens too, to really make the whole thing look a lot slicker.

Thanks Predseda -
I just helped out with background tiles after the game sat in limbo for a few months - Predseda got the ball rolling at the beginning with the main sprites / NPCs and is now working on title / game over screens. This is a taster demo - created just to work out in game routines - the final game is likely to change quite a bit in terms of presentation. Due to different people working on the game - there may be some disjointed graphic styles. Also it is the first time I've created game graphics and as expected the quality improved on the later tiles - |

Just to let you know the demo is 99.9% complete, and I am hoping to release it either this weekend or early next week. It is really just a demo of an engine we developed with a little game bolted on top, I think it will show, but I'm still pretty pleased with it and there is potential for a decent full game
