Amiga will never die!

New Amiga Games Company needs your help
Hey guys. I'm starting a new Amiga games company/group, or at least wanting to join one that already exists if there are any around. I want to try and add a bit of professionalism which has been lacking in recent years (or decades).
But first, I need to do a bit of market research. I have created an online survey to find out what kind of games people want to play on their Amigas, and what they would pay for them. The survey is divided into two pages: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=399343561778 and http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=152143562127 It would be much appreciated if anyone who is interested in seeing new Amiga games produced to fill in the survey honestly, and give us a clue what we need to make for everyone. Thanks Last edited by Rebel-CD32; 26 March 2007 at 21:47. |

A japanese console like RPG would be awesome. And Arcade & Jump'n Run games, which supports more than one button.

Sorry about that, guys, the links were wrong. I've edited my post and the links will work now. I didn't expect anyone to reply so soon.
Here they are again, just incase: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=399343561778 and http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=152143562127 |

Hi everyone! I'm with Rebel on this project, we need more new Amiga games, done right this time! The more people who answer both pages of the survey, the better chance we'll have of actually getting some good games made.
We need as many people to help out as possible, too. If anyone wants to help out, let Rebel or I know. And how about trying to think of a name for our new Amiga games label? We're open to suggestions. |

This is fantastic!!!
I´d like to do the music for a new Amiga game project (I prefer streaming 8-Bit Stereo Audio) Is it going to be commercial or released as freeware? As I mentioned in another thread I´m still willing to produce a professional cover artwork (plus cover printing and CD production). Wouldn´t it be great to have a fantastic new professional produced Amiga title from 2007?? I´m thinking of a quantity of 300-500 CDs. |

Hey Graham, we sure do need coders, and anyone else who wants to be involved in the games creation field. I still plan on helping with your game, drawing sprites and background blocks. I've recently been able to borrow a laptop from my dad for a while, so I'm online permanently again (my other PC blew up during our hot Summer).
I haven't got UAE set up on here yet though, but as soon as I do, I'll get back to work on some Annihilation graphics. |

Alternate Realities sounds cool!
Aww, Snowy has a boing ball on his tail! We'd really love to make all new games commercial releases, because our plan is to have these games really polished. Depending on the amount of work that goes into the games, and the amount of people working on them, the prices would vary. We'd surely need some good musicians, and if you can produce professional looking packaging, that would be fantastic! |

Definitely 68k, although PPC ports are always an option. And if the label actually happens, and someone has created a PPC Amiga game and needs a company to publish/distribute it, we'd be more than willing to join in and help.
The Amiga has such a great community, with so many people willing to help each other out which is great. The more games, the better, but ideally the games will be able to run for the majority of Amiga users out there. |

Awesome
I´m producing my first EP with a friend of mine (she´s the singer) and everything is 100% by us! (Composing, mixing..... and of course the cover artwork) I´m sure I´ll have the time for the Amiga project. It would be a pleasure to be on board Edit: 68k! Very good! Thanks. |

For modules, however, there are probably people in here that are far better. For samples of my recordings check these out: Pathfinder Departure Songs written by a band called Broken Arch (that I used to be lead singer in), all instruments in these recordings played and recorded by myself (except violin on Pathfinder played by my gf). [/SHAMELESS PLUG] If you'd want help from me anytime in the future, just PM me and I'll see what I can do |

I reckon we should get a bunch of name suggestions together and make a poll on which one to use.
We're currently working on a set of standards that games will have to adhere to, so all the games will be of the same high standard. With time and patience, any game can meet the requirements if the creators are dedicated to the project. |
