[C64scene] C64 Music Compo launched

For all you wannabe musos, and lovers of the C64 scene, here's a little something for you to try out.

GOAT COMPO 8.-22.october 2001

GOAT TRACKER v0.97 Beta is a tracker-like music editor for C64 music composing on a PC/Win32 platform using reSID emulation engine (written by Lasse Öörni, reSID written by Dag Lem)
For more info, check out

Lemme tell you the tracker is a bliss to use, if you ever used a tracker you will have no problems with this one. It's a godsend for those who want to get onto C64 music composing but have no access to a real C64 machine, and cant be arsed to use old trackers on an emulator (the commands and docs for these use to be obscure). Of course you will need knowledge of how the C64's SID works, and hexadecimal notation (piece o cake)

I'll be participating, so keep an eye for my SIDtune
