Joe & Mac

I stumbled across the entry Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja, and the database states that this game was released in 1993. Yet, the title screen you posted sid it was made in 1992. The latter year is correct.

Dates in Amiga games usually refer to copyright dates, which are often aren't the same as Amiga release dates. In the case of arcade conversions the copyright date can be a year or more before the Amiga release date. So, they aren't a foolproof way to determine when an Amiga game was released.

In this case, it looks like the copyright date has been erroneously put as 1992 in the Amiga game (rather than 1991). It was probably converted to the Amiga in 1992, but seems to have been reviewed in Amiga magazines in the first months of 1993. I'm not sure if 1992 or 1993 is correct in this case!
