The picture was sized right, and actually turned out pretty good. It's not a large sticker, but here's a pic to show what it looks like. I printed the picture onto an address label, then put clear contact paper over it to protect the image (especially since it was printed on an inkjet).

Now I just need to wait until the buttons arrive in the mail and build a box for it.

Found some info on the logic in a Sega 6 button pad. If you (or someone you know) can program a microcontroller (eg PIC), then you should be able to build an adapter?

The problem is, it's hard to find much info on the cd32 controller.

Found on Aminet:Elsewhere (can't remember where) I found a description of the signals the CD32 controller sends to the console.
(That info is also in the comments of the PIC hex file)

Sorry if my original post started too much excitement, I've just taken my time and slowly gone through the entire contents of the developers kit and it has no information whatsoever for the controller...

But I must say, this is looking very nice... not one dog ear *heh* You'd think it arrived in the mail yesterday. Perhaps in another 10 years I'll display it in a nice polished wooden box/table with a glass lid... heh...

I'm very keenly following this thread since I have 5 CD32
consoles etc etc, and I want NEW controllers!

I know it's been a while, but I'm starting to near the end of this project with the box being built. Right now, I still have to sand the edges a bit more and paint it before I go about wiring the insides.

Here's what I have so far; I'll probably move the colored buttons around (red button is on the trigger). The bottom panel screws in for easy access if I should ever have to open it up.

I still don't know why you used an "airplane cockpit" type stick. You like that? I never liked most of those joysticks.

Well, the main reason I'm using it is because it was what was available when I went looking for a joystick at the local parts shop here. However, my favorite joystick (although it didn't last long at all) was the Sigma Ray by Logic 3. I really liked the main button being on the trigger, and when you look at this stick, you can tell it will last forever. Also, I've always been more accurate with a big stick as opposed to the small ones. Once I finish this thing it should end up looking a lot nicer.

One thing I wanted to do is put stickers underneath the buttons that are the same as on the controller (left, right, 123, stop, etc). However, I don't think I'll be able to pull this off and still have it look professional (no idea where to get those kind of stickers for one thing), so I'll most likely be leaving the box a solid grey. I'll throw up some more pics once I start wiring the insides.

Finally done! All the hardwork payed off. I got everything together, plugged it in, and it works perfectly. Now I won't have to deal with a crap gamepad that constantly breaks. Here's a few pics of the finished product. If you want, I can post pics of the insides as well as write out how I built it.

I have it sitting next to a cd32 and a classic controller for comparision.
