Looking at the component list and comparing to RS Components the list doesn't seem far out. The only down side is many components will have to be ordered in minimum qtys of 10.

It gives me a good opportunity to save on postage and buy a bunch of his ram boards. I couldn't put them together for what he's selling them for. Amazing... Anyway this is turning into the we love kipper thread so on with the interest requests .

Ok,

Chinese New year is almost here so China and territories etc will probably be slowing down. still no word on my CPU quotes, it is the weekend so hopefully tomorrow. I can definately supply the 29F800's (and programmed as well) so knock that off the list. I seen we had offers for some of the other chips so thats good.

I intend on keeping 3 boards. Dont forget i can always increase quantity no problem

Hi all,

hopefully some good news

i received a reply for a quote for some components... heres the answer

50 Motorola MC68030RC50B 50MHZ PGA-128 Microprocessor,$31.37/ea,

50 through hole sockets for the MC68030RC50B 50MHZ PGA-128:mini order quantity is 100pcs,$5.2/ea;
250 Cypress CY7C1049CV33 512K x 8 Static RAM (36 pin SOJ) or equivalent ,$1.73.

So, i can get the processor, the Ram chips and also the CPU socket (although i would have to order minimum 100 for them to entertain the order of the sockets..

How's them prices sound ?. Bear in mind the shipping costs and duties that i would have to pay so it would be a little higher

I'll check on the other component prices later

Kipper - are the processors new? If so thats a pretty amazing price. Do they have the FPU as well?

69 Boards so far after two/three days of collecting interest....

Many AMIGA 500s could be about to die...

Hi, CPU's are NOS (new old stock) need to chek the pdf for full specs . I looked on ebay and prices there are horrible. I need to get more quotes for the other things... I bet there could be some people who regret binning their old Amigas now. Time to buy b4 prices of the A500's start climbing

did i mention i just bought some A500s even has the newer style C64 with it

Did they ship it or did you go all the way to Québec?

@Kipper2k

I pulled up my 2008 GB A1000 component listing to update the pricing from Digi-Key and amongst others, and I must say the prices you found are very good. You can count me in on the group buying plan, as that will be the cheapest way to go in the long run in regards to saving money on shipping as the cost would be a budget killer otherwise.
