I have quite a few screenshots (~2800, mainly the titlescreen). They are not all properly named (because the disks they came from aren't). Could they be of any use for ECC?

Hm, how to transfer....
you need crc32;gamename so you can transfer the images named with gamename to the ecc-user file structure. You can add these images flat the the ecc-user folder and then use the "Topmenue -> eccTools -> images -> image convertor" function to move them to the ecc-user folder structure. |

the images should be already in the right naming schema.
ecc_amiga_A53339EB_ingame_title.gif ecc_amiga_A53339EB_ingame_play_01.jpg aso. This should be possible by using the dat files from here http://gbamiga.elowar.com/files/@Main/ because they contains the matching crc32 <-> name. So, if your games screenshots have the same name like the names from the datfile, the images could be simple renamed into the ecc schema. |

Hmm, most of my disks (hence images) have the TOSEC naming convention. So must I rename all images to yor naming convention then? That would mean I have to look up all CRC32 values for the disks after importing them. Is there no way to map them all to 'ingame_title' based on the disk name imported in ECC?

hm, btw. I see, that the amiga crc32 from the tosec dat dont match with the emuControlCenter ones. Very strange.... very very strange.
Normaly only for roms, header offsets are calculated. So the crc32 values should match. |

Phoenix have created a little addon to get the gemus configs direct from the GameBase 1.6 database into emuControlCenter! Maybe you want try it! Download and install instruction here: http://ecc.phoenixinteractive.mine.n...hp?f=31&t=2047 |

Nice idea indeed! Yet it relies on the right names of the disks. It should use the CRC32 info if that's in the database
This one for example? |
