WingCommander CD32-version saveprob

hi,
i copied the cd32-version of WC on my hd and now i play this great game in 256colors using the great WCpatch which makes this game work with fastram.
it was quiet some work to get it working but after messing around with the wc-startup-sequence it finally works. due to the the wcpatch its even a little bit too fast on my 030/50...

but my prob is that i cant save any game as it requires the NV-ram of the cd32. is there any patch or maybe a NVram-emulator available which can be ran from the WB ?

my system is a cd32 with sx32pro... but with the sx32 enabled the nvram of my cd32 is not working (also when its disabled via a jumper-switch...)
is there any possibility to make this great-version of WC running from WB with beeing able to save/load a savegame?

i hope there is a solution. i dont want to get back to the 16color-version...
