I´ve got all original Lucasart/Lucasfilm adv. on my A1200 running without whdload.....works fine. All you need are the code wheels ore code tables

use the latest whdload 16.8 or 16.9

16.4 is old now, but i do agree that indy 4 adventure game just keep crashing and crashing.

Must ask JOTD to check the game.

No errors when saving on my side with monkey islands.... how much memory do you have ?

I'm having the same problem! This soo sucks... I'm using KG's game packs for money island and i played all last night and now i cant load ANY of my game saves.. really crappy thing to happen. I don't know what to do now, I guess ill have to find another whd install version that actually works

If your machine is "big" enough you can also try running the amiga-version of MI with ScummVM on Amiga....works fine with AGA 060 eg. I've never tried WHDload for these games. The original install (with ECS chosen in the early startup, if it is an AGA machine) works fine, too.

whdload is about "no restarts, no messing with caches and aga chipset etc", just click and play

I know. The hd of my 1200 is full of whdload-installs.

HD install under WinUAE (and ancient WinFellow too!) works fine

+ 1000 points for emulation

if you install the game on harddisk with its installer, you will not have problem of this type.

Of course. Unless it's mentionned in the readme you can always do that.

Yeah but if I remember there are speed/compatibility issues because of the accelerator card which the WhdLoad slaves fixes.

Your WHDLoad exe is outdated as well.
