Genetic Species Audio Track

Hello and happy new year.

I'm looking for the mp3s of the audio track of Genetic Species that were in the web of marble eyes. Only the mp3 not the full cd game.

Thanks.

Late response as I've been away... This is the full CD image, convert them afterwards to .MP3 if you must

Thank you, but that version has the audio track in not well state. I look for audio tracks without clicks and pops.

A greeting.

Apparently this is how the original CD is http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=290175&postcount=9

... but I guess you should already know this as you've replied in that thread

Unfortunately I haven't come across any "fixed" .MP3s

Yes, this one. The game plays the audio tracks only with the latest patch for me, but then with no sound crackles or hooks.

Just mount the CD and play the tracks in winamp or something, RN... the 6 last tracks or something are the ones that doesn't sound good, if I remember correctly.

Yes, you're right. I've tested only the first two tracks some days ago. They released such a crappy original cd, what a shame?

Correct. The version of the emule has the same erros of audio tracks that http://vampires2006.free.fr/files/geneticspecies/ (they are surely the same version). The idea is to get the audio separated to make the cd again.

A greeting.

The "clicks" in the tracks are easily fixable.... but I don't ought to.

That's true. I ripped the tracks with EAC to Wav and removed the glitches easily.

A hint: You should firstable use the "DeClicker" option of Nero Wav editor (remove clicks & crakle) and then EAC Wav editor to remove the last glitches.

The problem is in the tracks 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 where the numbers of errors is so high that it has not been possible to clean of clicks and posp. I have attempted it with the Soundfroged, with the audition, with the EAC and there is not way to get a good result.

A greeting.

I don't think a EAC editor and such automated tools (never used one) can do it good. I was thinking of doing it manually, that would work....

When you spent some time, why not. You can repair a lot of stuff, when you edit it manually. I don't have the nerves to do it, i prefer games like "Foundation Gold" or "Exodus - The last war". There are only some soft crackles & pops left in GS, enough to play it.

Hey,

That site with the GS iso is mine. Someone from this board kindly sent me a copy straight from the original CD. I made an image of the brand new CD using an also brand new NEC DVD burner. So if there's a problem with the audio tracks, honestly I doubt it's because of the original CD or the way I made the ISO.

BUT that's a possibility. Anyway I'll check with the CD but I don't remember any glitches. I'll make a new image if needed.
