Ah the power of the MonAm debugger.
I was recently debugging some code in WInUAE using MonAm debugger. I haven't touched is in over 10 years, and I really didn't appreciate the power of a debugger back then.
This has to have been to most powerful debugger of it's time. The only debugger that is better is the MAME debugger, but MAME doesn't have to run on the platform it's debugging. And it was able to pull debugging information from the Geek Gadget GCC compiler (or the compiler output debugging information compatible with MonAm is more like it). It's hard to beat cross development using a Windows (or Linux if you're into that type of thing), WinUAE, and GCC. |

Actually SnAsm was way more powerful - and a hell lot more expensive

Is this the product by Cross Products? I've heard about it, but never saw it.
I have the SNASM68k compiler floating around on the internet, is there a seperate linker that creates Amiga executables? |

You'll need the hardware downloader, a few grands at the time...
It is completely hardware controlled on any platform including the amiga. |

@cdoty: I use MonAm all the time for making WHD patches. Its a bit hard to use at first but when you learn the common key combinations you can fly
