Happy Ciao!

Dear All,

greetings from Seoul!

My name's Edoardo, 1977, Italian.

I got my first Commodore in 1986.

Now I own a SAM460ex PPC complete system and I am going to collect classic Amiga models (A600 and A1200) and upgrade them.

I like retrogaming, Back to The Future movies and DeLorean car.

Grazie!

Hi Edoardo, welcome to EAB and to the Amiga community. I think it's interesting that you're starting your Amiga experience at the end and working backwards, as nice as OS4 on the Sam is I think the fun is really going to start when you get those classic Amigas and start upgrading them. It'll be great having the best of both worlds set up to use.

Back to the Future is one of my all-time favourite movies and trilogies too, I must watch them at least six times a year. I have a replica DeLorean from BTTF2 with the Mr. Fusion on the back and the tires that flip up sitting in the middle of my TV cabinet where I have all my games consoles and DVD player set up.

You must be one of the only Amiga users in Korea, but I hope you meet or make some more while you're there. If you have any questions, just ask away, we're a helpful and friendly bunch.

Amiga is the REAL time machine!

Thumbs up

Hello Cammy,

thanks for the warm welcome.

Yes I am, Commodore and Amiga are unknown in Korea because electronics came out with Samsung and LG quite recently.

I saw only few models on sale in Japan just because NEC made few ICs for Commodore in early 80's.

I did bring my memories when I moved from Italy to Asia.
Now I'd like to enjoy my freetime with retrogaming.
Since electronics is my main aim, I am going to fix and update the classic HW and have powerful dynamic machines at the end!

Unfortunately I left the DeLorean in my garage.
So no more opportunity to drive it on the highways.
but I can enjoy seeing movies on BD...

thanks again.
