it seems everyone else is able to hit the 100 limit and carry on without getting banned.
something special must have happened dont really understand what the fuss is about. Most free sites are plastered with adverts and pop-ups, so having this "limit" is hardly very intrusive compared to that. |

if it were a business, you'd have to be content with "your comments have been noted and will be reviewed by the relevant parties"
and then nothing would change anyway I dont see much point in re-hashing this ground again |

If you seriously need to search through 1100 games in a short period of time then maybe you should consider setting up your own site or offer some money to pay for server costs. Also, I am guessing a site could leech off of HOL and maybe, just maybe, this limit is helping to prevent/curb that. Not being able to search through thousands of games on HOL is such a trivial matter imho. COME ON HOL! I have 3 kids to feed, loosen the restrictions! |

As i said before though, the case "for" removing (or up'ing) the limit has been made, recorded by the relevant person(s), and that going over the same issue of "but i want it" would just be re-covering old ground. |

Ads are not a good idea imho, but I am not against it completely, the 'HOL people' deserve to be making money from such a wonderful site in some way, be it ads or donations. There you go plankton, one unfixed opinion just for you. Last edited by skateblind; 07 December 2009 at 14:30. |

@VresiBerba: just give me your IP and I will unban you.
If one IP hit the "100 per day" limit 9 times, it will be permanently banned. This protection code was only there to prevent massive website leeching. Anyway, it was at a time HOL pictures were not watermarked. I think it's maybe time to make the human verification system less intrusive. |
