UAE4Wii
Hey people,
I hope i'm posting in the right section :-) Anyway as a big amiga lover i was a kind disapointed to see that there's no amiga emulator on the wii so i just released an UAE port based on the UAE4All sourcecode from Chui and now i can play battle squadron and others right from my couch you can found it here : http://www.gouky.com/?menu_nav=PROJECTS⊂=UAE4WII The wii is a really great console for homebrew / emulation stuff from his size and the wii mote (perfect for mouse). Just wanted to let you know in case of... Gouky |

Veeeeeery interesting indeed....
Any idea if this'll support hdf anytime in the near future? Plus, some kind of faster processor emulation and more RAM (16MB+) Not that I'm picky! |

Ah! Lifesaver! Does lemmings also work (which would really rock)? Or Pang/Turrican 2 for that matter...

I wonder if it will work anywhere near the speed of WinUAE-X

I've not seen any version of UAE4ALL that has gone beyond standard A500 emulation. |

Ah that's a shame.
Yeah alexh I was thinking the same thing. Just liked the use of the pointer instead of a mouse. |

I don t want to be off topic but is there an updated list of all emulators for Wii around (other than Nintendo official Virtual Console emulators) ?

Very nice, just one question, is the 512k kickstart a requirement of UAE4ALL or is it a glitch in the Wii port? A normal 256k dump won't boot for some reason.

Just tried Hybris and it works at full speed. Sound emulation is nearly perfect too.
Well done and I am looking forward to see the keyboard emulation. |

Sound is only weird when I have the console set to 480p, on 576i it is fine.

I think the Wii uses a PPC chip doesn't it? Wonder if it would be possible to use in under UAE...that might be fun

Nope, for the same reason you still have to emulate the 68k when running Atari ST emulators for Amiga.

note 100% sure about that... I am not technical enough but I remember an Atari ST emulator that was only working on A500 because the STos was not compatible with any 68020+... and I remember running some atari ST apps on my A500 at full speed so I doubt it was emulating the 68k. About PPC now I have no idea... |
