Booting WB from windows dir.
Is it possible to boot my WB from a windows directory? I've copied my A1200 HD to a windows directory, but adding this directory as a HD in winUAE won't boot up my workbench.
Anyone? |

*cough*
I see I no longer have my WB/C directory on my PC. I dunno why, but it's gone. Dammit. |

There's some files that Workbench installs that PC's just don't like. WinUAE cheats a bit to make directories work as harddrives. I remember C being a directory that had such files, and I think one other directory does too (though I don't remember which one).
It might be a better idea to copy the 1200 HD over as an HDF file (via Amiga Explorer) or to do a fresh install of Workbench via WinUAE and copy the 1200 files over and replace what's there already. In theory, it would work |

I see now. I don't have Amiga Explorer (seems to be a Cloanto commercial program), but are there any other ways of transmuting an Amiga directory into a HDF file?
