Paradise Lost
I believe that this good Amiga game that (almost) wasn't deserves the WHDLoad treatment!

Doesn't really make sense to merge the threads IMHO, as 99% of this thread has nothing to do with WHDLoad.

Re: Paradise Lost
I have made quite a bit of progress on this. I hope to have later today. Each level, demo, cut scene, disk change, etc. is basically separate program with no less then 2 supporting loaders. Lots and lots of patching.

I have uploaded the first beta to the zone. It has been fully (painfully) snoop bug tested. Resolved quite a few blit outside of memory issue, missing blit waits, few access faults, color bit issues, native os calls removed, etc.
Currently it only has a infinite energy trainer, but will be adding select start level. Keyboard still has issues and will require patching every level, loader, intro, outro as they share no code. Issue with title screen - pointer slides under part of the screen. Please test an provide feedback. If using WinUAE use cycle exact. |

Played until the '3D' stage and it worked without any problems I'll try once again later to play through it.
Edit: Played through it. Skip Intro option worked too, so nothing to complain about Last edited by TCD; 26 May 2013 at 18:53. |

I had a "illegal instruction" after finishing the 3d-level on my 1200/060, but i already reported it to Abaddon with a memdump.
It think it's quite cool how you can notice that the programmer has a democodingbackground (I suppose). I always wanted to beat up a rotating Cube, and Sphere |

I am back from MS Geek fest and have started working on the install again. I am working first on adding keyboard routine and making sure it is enabled for every part of the game. Then I will work on the 060 issue jonathan discovered.

Here is an updated slave. I fixed a bad patch at the start of level 4, possibly may fix the issue jonathan ran into, but then again maybe not
Implemented a keyboard routine via interrupts and the P (pause) and F1 (replenish life - use bottle after picking it up) should work on all levels. Have only tested with my 1200 ACA 1231. |

Does anyone have fully installed WHDLoad version for download directly to my Amiga?
Nevermind, I have just checked the Zone |

Just finished it on my a1200/060 successfully. Earlier bug I reported gone. Cheers!
PS the end screen had small graphic glitch in the middle of it on my system, but nothing that really needs to be fixed. (The picture where it says that all servants are slayed. bla bla.) |
