problem saving mouse axis to joypad thumbstick
hello all
not sure if this is a bug, but when i map the right analogue stick on my joypad to be used as mouse axis XY it works fine but after saving the config and re-opening the emulator / config the control then is lost, and just the normal mouse is working thanks everyone |

i found out this is a problem with gamebase rather than winuae, it keeps running games and reverting to a generic configuration in gemus, which i don't know how to change

in GameBase go to gemus and click on the script then remove the first few lines which will
look something like If Control = JoyPort1 Set_CFG_Value(%dbpath%\belgarath.uae||joyport0||joy0) Set_CFG_Value(%dbpath%\belgarath.uae||joyport1||joy1) Set_CFG_Value(%dbpath%\WHDLoad.uae||joyport0||joy0) Set_CFG_Value(%dbpath%\WHDLoad.uae||joyport1||joy1) Else Set_CFG_Value(%dbpath%\belgarath.uae||joyport0||winmouse1) Set_CFG_Value(%dbpath%\belgarath.uae||joyport1||joy0) Set_CFG_Value(%dbpath%\WHDLoad.uae||joyport0||winmouse1) Set_CFG_Value(%dbpath%\WHDLoad.uae||joyport1||joy0) Then it will no longer override your control settings. And make sure you save the config in the GameBase Amiga directory. |

belgarath now ive resolved that im having exactly the same problem also on winuae loader, is there a way i can stop it overriding the controls ive set too?
