I did. WB 1.3 ran fine on it though.

Well, I might as well add to this thread (and will try to keep it relatively short without going into massive detail)

Contacted TenLeftFingers a few days ago to see exactly what it was that he needed to achieve.

Basically, it was getting 1.2MB of data onto a single floppy disk so that he could distribute this at his up-and-coming "Amiga Ireland Meetup"

The data provided is Exodus's '94 edition of "Anarchist CookBook IV" which contain Jolly Roger files + anything else that Exodus managed to acuminate in order to provide a meaningful update...

I do love a challenge so...

Crunching data was the easy part; the difficult bit was having some kind of menu system that allowed 220 entries to be displayed / selectable / loadable.

First thought was to analyse the existing menu system used in "Jolly Roger's Cookbook Version III (1991-01-23)(Shaolin Masters)[h SNS].adf".

All cool but only has 141 slots available for configuration

I'm no programmer, so after looking at all relevant files via a HexEditor I couldn't work out how to point to a second copy in a different location... After all my attempts, everything proved to be a dead-end.

Never one to give up, I thought outside the box and managed to find a solution that entailed dummy files / copies / assigns etc...

Anyway, the disk is now finished and I've very happy with the end product (as is TenLeftFingers)

I've tested on all Amiga models via WinUAE and no problems what-so-ever

Attached here for anyone else that would like it.

Oh, and TOSEC guys, you should probably include in your next DAT updates
Attached Files
File Type: zip Anarchist CookBook IV (1994)(Exodus).zip (615.4 KB, 129 views)
