radeon 9200 purchase
I have been looking on ebay for a 9200 pci card for my mediator, vand I have noticed a number of different photos the cards seem to look different. Is there a specific card that needsto be used, or would any style work? And do these cards have the video ports low enough on the card so that the case does not need to be modified to accommodate the dvi addaptor?
Thanks |

Just be sure you grab a 5V-only version if you have an old Mediator (LT4 or SX). The newer TX already have 3.3V on-circuit.

I have one such Radeon 9250 which is supposedly 5V but it doesn't work in my Mediator. Your best bet for 100% success is to buy the special 5V version directly from Elbox. Yes, you will pay a bit more, but you can be sure it will work. |

If I email Elbox with the serial number, they would be able to tell me if the 9250 is compatible? The other question I have is wether or not the video out puts on the radeon are low enough on the back plate that I can get the dvi to hdmi gender changer hooked in without having to do major surgery on my 44000T case. I have a 9200 128meg card, but the dvi connector is right at the top of the back plate and as a result, the connector is half covered by the case
Thanks |

I think the Elbox card would probably fit, you could ask Elbox, but the 9200 I got from them (it is the 64MB version with dual VGA, not DVI) fits in A4000T with Mediator. |
