Supercars 2 on WinUAE
This is probably a really stupid question, but how do I get the keys to work?!
I've been through every setting I can find. Supercars 2 loads fine. And then it sits on the intro screen playing music while I press keys! I've tried all the default set-ups like the numeric keypad, cursors... please help! |

Not sure. Have you set the keys up? Load up Winuae. Load your config but before you press start, on the left hand side select Game & I/O ports. The box on the bottom right should say Port 0=Mouse, Port 1=Your key setup. I have mine set to keyboard layout B. Which is cursor keys and the right ctrl and alt are fire buttons. Then save the config and load it up, the keys should then work fine. If you have done this, then I have no idea, sorry.

Works fine here, in my custom A500 config.
*Edit* I've TWICE tried to upload it to the Zone, but it isn't happening! |

You need to select the keys setup in the Game Port i/O and Input sections.
I'm using a windows xbox360 controller, which needs WINUAE to be set to compatibility mode to work. Once, you've got that, you just need to press the fire key to stop the music and proceed. It's bad design that the game is waiting for input form the player, but doesn't request it, so you can sit there thinking it's crashed or froze. But, this was back in the day when people weren't very experienced at designing games. |

Possible reasons: It may default to port 1 (mouse port) in input panel-mode or it may not be enabeld by default (checkbox on right side of device name) |
