Update packs...

Hiya All,
I don't suppose somebody could put the January to July Update packs on the net for me, could you? I've got the August pack but I can't seem to get the other ones. I've tried Emule, but no luck...it's like watching paint dry.

I've got broadband so it won't take me long to download...maybe an hour the most?? hope someone can help.

I take it you mean my whdload packs. I am not sharing those anymore but all the packs are available on emule, you just need patience. It is around 300mb of data so finding someone to host it web based is hard, you could try the ftp's

Thanks for the reply Decreator, yeah sorry I meant your WHDLoad collection Update packs. Don't know anyone who is hosting any FTP's, only Wlcina. He is concentrating on CAPS & music at the mo.

Well, maybe I'll try Emule again..only other solution is CAPS, but not all the CAPS install from WHDLoad installers. Gods doesn't, maybe because it has the number '666' Some others have problems too.

They are on emule thats for sure....

in the search option try: whdload In Method use: Global(server)

but you must be very patient....( i hope you have adsl line and not a 56k modem)... Good Luck...

I have DSL, but damn are these packs slow to download. I must have uploaded over 350MB to various people but I only get 1 - 3 kbps on a download. Once I managed to get 15kbps download, but it seems very strange. Is it better to upload alot..I can upload at 30 - 40 Kbps, and download later? It states to use 32kbps - download (no limit) and 16 kbps upload (with limit) with my connection DSL 256kbps....but if I can upload at 30 - 40 kbps wouldn't this make it quicker for me to download something because I am getting credit quicker?

PS: If somebody is interested in swapping WHDLoad packs another way, that would be great.

I need A,B,G,I,K,L,M,N,O,P,S...

Have you read the august update thread in amiga scene as bippy has announced a way to get them via ftp.

Also your 350mb upload, bah, i have uploaded from those packs about 50gb and that is just via emule, not forgetting the ftps i put it on and the cd's i sent to various people.

Once you have them all please continue sharing !
