Sorry for the delay. In the meantime, I have managed to get hold of two of the missing AACDs - 1 and 3, and I may be able to get AACD 2 also. If their condition is good enough to give good ISO images, then I'll be uploading them instead.

I have only limited data available every month for large uploads like these.

[Edit] I can upload AACD 3 if they are only hosting CDs 1 and 2.

Alrighty, both "AmigActive Cover Disc 01 (1999-09-30)(Pinprint)(GB)[!][issue 1999-10].zip" + "AmigActive Cover Disc 02 (1999-10-28)(Pinprint)(GB)[!][issue 1999-11].zip" have been downloaded from PleasureDome. I then extracted them, 7-Zip'd the image files back up naming them "AACD01.7Z" + "AACD02.7Z" and then uploaded...

Check Magix's FTP server in the \AACD directory

This morning, my attempt to upload the AACD03.7Z file I had created (353.95MB) has aborted and started again from scratch after some 8 hours and 187.5MB completed!

I was using CuteFTP Professional (ver 8.3.2 Build 09.02.2008.1) in the belief that it would resume failed uploads, following reports by other forum members of similar experiences with other FTP clients, but this did not appear to be possible in this instance. Does the Magix FTP server not support this feature?

I'm sorry to disappoint those who have been eagerly (and patiently, I might add

) waiting for this CD image, but I've had to pull the plug on this for the moment. Let me assure you that I am as frustrated and disappointed by this failure as anybody else!

I can't afford another failed attempt to upload this file right now, and I'd be reluctant to change my FTP client (I have the registered version), but perhaps I could split the archive into more manageable parts to avoid a repeat of this débâcle! If I was to get this file up in several parts, maybe someone with a more solid connection to the server could join them together again?

On a more cheerful note, thanks for your uploads, DamienD.

If you have a way to upload to some part , ftp, whatever. I could download it, integrate on a single and then upload to magixftp. You can PM me if you wish I can give access to a area.

This upload will complete the AmigActive CD image FTP archive!

All users please note:
Due to the track layout of this disc, an ISO image is not sufficient to preserve the Audio and data with subcodes.
Therefore, the CD image is presented as B6I/B6T files.

Burn to CD with BlindWrite 6 (TrialWare):
http://www.blindwrite.com/
(Version 6.2.0.1, dated 03 December 2008, 6.5MB).

Install the software and select the B6T file. The B6T file contains the information needed to burn the B6I image file.

Uploading now at +-27Kb/sec although my limit is 512Kb/sec, slow upload and only doing this.

In the current rate, finished in about 2:30 hours. As I have to leave now, please check the server by 14:00 UK time, hoping that all went well.

EDIT: Just checked and upload was fine. AACD03 on MagixFTP!
