Right, I never even heard of SCART before logging on to this forum. Here most of the newer flat screens have VGA though though they tend to be picky. I cannot get my 52" Samsung to display my 1200/indivsion combo.

Above is the advice that Alex gave me, my Indivision wouldn't display on my Sony LCD TV with VGA input - I must admit I haven't tried anything Alex has suggested as yet because I now have my A1200 and Indivision set up on another HP Flat screen but his suggestions may help...

No SCART in USA, it has HDMI, VGA, Component & composite.

It probably has S-Video too. If it does, a sub $30 RGB->S-Video adapter could be better value for money.

Anything would be better than Composite or RF, Yeuch!

This is a neat product, but what in combination with a A3000D?

On a A3000D, all display modes are already at 31 kHz horizontal scan speed.
Will the Indivision ECS be able to increase the vertical scan speed to 75 Hz - 100 Hz?

Also, I have a A3000D with Picasso II+ installed, which has 'automatic passthrough' for the ECS display modes. Will this combine with the Indivision ECS? Thus, will the flixer fixed/scan doubled ECS modes will also be passed through correctly?

i think main reason for Indivision in A3000 will be output at 60Hz, which can be finally used with modern LCDs

You can use modern LCD's with A3000 without an Indivision ECS.

You just use an NTSC screen mode both in Workbench and WHDload and the built in AMBER chip will output 60Hz.

PLUS in doing so you do not compromise the smoothness of the scrolling (unlike displaying PAL50@60Hz).

IMO HiGFX mode is the only reason to want an Indivision ECS for use with an A3000, but if anyone can think of any other reason, I'm listening.
