This video is from the CD32 version of Cannon Fodder. It was probably the only game that used the FMV cartridge.

I had to perform a double look at the title to this thread and the first thing i said out loud without thinking was " Oh No .. No.. ". I really cant believe he is gone!?. The music he wrote on the Amiga was absolutely Incredible and i just didnt think i would ever see this day.

Its a very sad day, and as someone else said... Im lost for words.

sigh...

Very sad news indeed. My deepest sympathies to his family/loved ones. His CBM64 works were great, though I have to rate his Amiga stuff even better- Cannon Fodder comes straight to mind as I'm typing this. RIP Mr Joseph.

It's a HUGE waste of money...

Much like the FMV carts for the Playstation and the Saturn

at hearing Richard Joseph has passed away. A brilliant Amiga musician of which many I still listen to now. Deepest condolences to his family.

So hard to forget that when we immerse ourselves in the retro world of Amiga in some shape or form and are reliving our youth, the reality is, we are all ageing. If only time stood still....

At moments like this we can reflect on what RJ gave us all. Through the scene and the fans, his works and personality will live on and never fade.

One of the great musicians, may he rest in peace.

@DamienD

Thanks for your help!
So, it seems I'm just sometimes a little too lazy to find out things ?!
-Does that cartridge thing mean that in practice, you can't play the CD32 version of CannonFodder without that cartridge and a real cd32 console ?
I'm just using an emulator program with my A4000 :-).
As you may know, the cd32 version of CF did have nice intro movie, which I can't get to work.. :-/

I liked his music very much. Now when I heard his passed away I will play his best work loud at tonight. It's a sad song. Recorded directly from A500 in 16-bit stereo mp3-format..

CANNON FODDER - BOOT HILL [Loading music]

Another nice guy lost to the Amiga community before time. I remember thinking when he posted to EAB that it was so refreshing to see a guy of his talent being so friendly and approachable to fans of his work. I hope he's still making music, wherever he may be.
