MasterIso or BurnIt

I am looking for the full versions of masterIso or burnIt. Before my
Amiga 1200 hard drive finally packs up, been running for 12 years
now! Could some kind sole put it in the Zone if they have it

Eeek! they're both nasty...

Masteriso will only work with their own cd filesystem (only available seperately, it doesn't come with it), you also have to create the directory tree of any CD manually, there is no recursive file entry, which is a bugger on a data backup of 25,000 to 30,000 files in 8,000+ drawers...

Burnit is pretty but useless.

Both don't support many drives, not even the Atapi standard, forget them and get MakeCD, it might be ugly but it works well and is comapible with most drives. If you just need to backup your hard drive, the demo on aminet will do it without problems...

I agree with Severin.......buy MakeCD or just use the demo version.
It's streets ahead of both MasterISO (utter crap!) and BurnIt. If
you're a complete novice when it comes to burning software, then
BurnIt might be useful for basic use, but MakeCD isn't all that
difficult to configure and has much more power. Should be a demo
version of BurnIt floating around on Aminet or a developer web site
(use Google).

In any case, only MasterISO is not supported and being sold anymore,
so that's probably the only one that can be uploaded to the Zone for
you by others here.

I got the last full (commercial) version of masteriso when they made a slight cockup, I went for an update that they wouldn't let me have (seems the version I paid 50p for at a carboot was dodgy and the serial was a well known cracked one) but I was dumped in their protected FTP site, so I grabbed the full version anyway...

I'll try and find it if anyone wants it, but it is absolute shit. it's not worth the expence of downloading even if your on for free...
