What I am a little unsure of is the difference between the three terms Automon, Bmon and Smon. They could be the same thing, they could be different, not sure.
At least AMon was automatic and probably the first to come. I have 2 of them, with tower faceplate, additional manual switch, 2-colour LED and power plug. The quality of the switches wasn't too good - had to clean those tiny switches every now and then (magnifier needed!)

Yes but you would have to make your own cable up.

I just installed a Flicker Magic / Scandoubler internally on my A1200.
All sort of works fine, a little (well, maybe a little more than more) dull colors, and a repetated pattern of vertical lines across the screen. It is as the colors are a bit more lighter for each 10 or 12 pixel or so.

Is this normal behaviour from such a kit?

Or is mine not working properly?

It has the double set of rams on the piggyback board, so it seems it also is a flicker fixer and not only a scan doubler tho...

In a way i am dissapointed with it, especially since the screen with it looks not at all so nice and crisp as with. It is scandoubled for quite a few resolutions tho, even if not all.

Anywone who can share with me some experience with this kit?

You are just too afraid
I installed and uninstalled this unit many times in two of my machines. don't be afraid to CAREFULLY pull i off!! Apply pressure from each corner, letting them loose one by one, it will snap off easily.

Seconded on the heating, though. Put a heatsink on it, I did.
