Amiga hard drive
Sorry about the newbieness of this question, but I'm planning on souping up my Amiga 1200 (not even looked at it since buying it for a photo shoot we did) and I was wondering if you were able to install games onto the harddrive.
I'm aware that boxes are incredibly bulky and that disks are quite slow at loading (especially the multiple disk efforts) and was hoping that a big hard drive would allievate most of this issues. Darran |

Have a look at WHDload, it allows you to install games to the hard disk and also fixes incompatabilities with older/newer hardware.
It costs a fee to register it (£15) but is worth every penny. |

A cheap IDE > CF from Ebay is good
or easy to set up a pcmcia CF adapter Extra memory is also a good idea. |

Hi Daz,
I got a pcmcia flash card and then an Blizzard IV 030 expansion card. its cool and speeds up some of the games that were unplayable on my old unexpanded miggy back in the day |
