"Gloom Maps Quick Viewer" is released !
External link Collection of all maps ( as "event 1" ) including the newest MOD. If you are stuck while even original Gloom, it may help you... I guess. If you have already completed those maps, you can also see them to kill time! Now my "Gloom" main page is also updated. You can see all enemies including Leon's titles. ALL is for GLOOM freaks (fans) ! Just have a fun ! Last edited by nittamituaki; 11 June 2022 at 01:22. Reason: changed URL of image. |

I did some research for you but didn't have any luck. The page you've linked to is a backup of a Polish Amiga Magazine coverdisc (downloadable from https://archive.org/details/cdrom-amigamamagazine071998, but the original ISO doesn't have the file either).
The coverdisc in turn was a backup of http://www.xgw.fi/~slice/gloom/gloom.html, but that site hasn't existed since at least 2001 (Internet archive contains one link of that page but it was a backup of the 404 page) |

Found them.
They were on a "17 Bit" PD disc (attached). |

@earok
Thank you very much!! I tested it, and it was similar to "new spacehulk levels". (Very easy.) Now I'm trying "Mini Maps" by Terry Jay Stone. Ummm...it's so good for me because it's tricky and tough. Perhaps if someone complete these 3 levels, he may be able to complete "Did IT come from the desert?" ,too. ADF version (compilation vol.3) and my review would be later. It's a bit hard to finish till end of August (?). Really tough maps !! Yeah~ |

How to edit "status bar" (correct)
I'm glad to see you again in happily spring days.
Oh yeah, today I edited "status bar" for "Spekkio Battle DX". See attachment. Just command as following. Code:
makeanim smallfont2.iff smallfont2.bin 2 Please ignore my previous manual. We don't have to make the 50th sprite look "black box"(17,17,17 color). We don't have to make color #1~3 as dummy. (Just use them normally.) Last edited by nittamituaki; 23 April 2016 at 07:42. |

Hi Nitta, glad to hear that you're still working on Mods. Can't wait for "X" and "Utopia"
I didn't know about your "First Age" collection, a very cool idea. I had the idea of making a "Gloom II" to fill the gap between Gloom Deluxe and Gloom 3, using mods that are out there (especially AGA Experience/Computer/New Spacehulk, possibly using Mnich's pyramid and predator levels). If it's OK, do you mind if I borrow the files from your site to make a Gloom collection disc? PS how did you make the edit-prg utility? |

I couldn't help myself, I've started on some stuff for Gloom 2. It's basically just going to be 21 maps (same number as Gloom 1) that work on a stock CD32. Current plan, but this might change.
Level 01: Pyramid Level 02: Technician Facility Level 03-09: Cultist Flagship (New Space Hulk) Level 09-15: Cultist HQ (AGA Experience) Level 16-21: Cultist Mainframe (Computer Levels) Edit: I'll definitely revise the levels, Pyramid should be later in the game and also Predator should make an appearance. I'm not too worried about it being sold, I think the last seller stopped doing it after he got too many complaints! The sample map isn't very good you're welcome to host it though. Don't worry, I'm sure someone will start making more mods, but you should be proud that Japan is currently leading the world in Gloom mods I keep thinking that I want to do an "Aliens" mod since I've already converted the Xenomorph and Face Hugger sprites from Alien Trilogy. Regarding Edit-Prg, I was mostly interested in how you found the code that determines how many objects to load maximum. Using the WINUAE debugger? 2016 is indeed shaping up to be a wonderful year for Amiga revival Last edited by earok; 24 April 2016 at 14:46. |

I got a little carried away and made a replacement texture set for txt_1 to txt_4 (so I can use New Space Hulk and similar levels in my compilation without it feeling like the original levels). It's a darker, dirtier feel.
They're taken from Space Hulk: Vengeance of the Blood Angels, Iron Angel of the Apocalypse and Necrodome. Edit: There are LOTS of old FPS rips here, including the Alien Breed 3D games. Maybe we can finish the graphics for Gloomy Breed? http://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?t=37544 (Click the show buttons on the first post) Last edited by earok; 25 April 2016 at 10:08. |

Preview of the menu system. Gloom 3 is split into three parts so the Car Park levels are by themselves (we can use your sfx2 folder for the Car Park levels alone)
PS there's still room for X or Utopia |

The process isn't overly tricky, I could give you a hand. It'd have something in the startup sequence like
Code:
lab start execute menu1 execute menu2 skip back start Code:
showpic waitjoy>env:joy if $joy eq red game 1 endif etc etc |

Uploaded GloomCK example levels (ADF version).
I also mentioned that compilation CD. See and tell me if you noticed strange/wrong English. Thank you in advance. PS. Gloom Maps Quick Viewer also covers those maps now. Last edited by nittamituaki; 11 June 2022 at 01:14. |
