Workbench and Aniticlick

Can some peeps check their adf copies of Workbench 2.0 to 3.1 for a program called "anticlick" in the C directory?

Those with tosec, please can you check in there too.

The thing is, it seems someone made it their personal mission long ago to add the utility "anticlick" (downloadable from aminet) to the many copies of Workbench floating around.

It's been placed in the C directory and added to the startup-sequence after "setpatch". I'm just curious how many copies have this added - it certainly wasn't on the original disks as the file date is 4 years later than the last release and the startup-sequence shows that it's been modified at a later date!

All of these disks from a TOSEC-v2006-04-09 set have the mod you describe:

Workbench v2.05 rev 37.71 (1992)(Commodore)(Disk 1 of 4)(Workbench)[m].adf C13CC7CD
Workbench v2.05 rev 37.71 (1992)(Commodore)(Disk 4 of 4)(Install)[m].adf 5B949801
Workbench v2.1 rev 38.36 (1992)(Commodore)(M10)(Disk 1 of 5)(Install)[m].adf 8C3AEF58
Workbench v2.1 rev 38.36 (1992)(Commodore)(M10)(Disk 2 of 5)(Workbench)[m].adf E0EE2BBB
Workbench v3.0 rev 39.29 (1992)(Commodore)(A1200-A4000)(M10)(Disk 1 of 6)(Install)[m2].adf 2A4086B2
Workbench v3.0 rev 39.29 (1992)(Commodore)(A1200-A4000)(M10)(Disk 2 of 6)(Workbench)[m].adf 59211011
Workbench v3.1 rev 40.42 (1996)(ESCOM)(M10)(Disk 1 of 6)(Install)[m2].adf AE48CFCE
Workbench v3.1 rev 40.42 (1996)(ESCOM)(M10)(Disk 2 of 6)(Workbench)[m3].adf 64BEE3B0

Apart from those I only have floppies of 2.04 which do not contain anticlick.

No, thanks to OddbOd I have the answer.

Looks like someone did edit all the adfs years ago.

It always catches me out, as I add anticlick to the user-startup file only to find it's already included!

Just thought I'd check how widespread this issue is.
