Amigakit jobs

Alright, do you know if there are any jobs available at amiga kit. There's no 'careers' page on there website. Also when you click on the jobs page on amiga future all of the text is in German which is useful. Cheers mate

I visited amigafuture.de and then clicked on Jobs. In the upper right corner it says : "Just write to Andreas Magerl if you are interested in a job or have any questions".
So I clicked on Kontakt and there you can see his address and his e-mail is Andreas at amigafuture dot de if I got that right.

Is that the correct page I visited?

Confusing thread.

Amigakit and Amiga Future are two different companies.

Unless your looking for jobs at both companies.

I also need to work for Amigakit, I'll tell you why. My wife is a huge fan of Manic Street Preachers, and she asks me EVERYDAY: "Oh please give up everything and move to Wales/Cardiff". If I remember correctly everything I ordered from Amigakit was sent just from Cardiff, so I could kill two birds with one stone I would be happy 'cause I love Amiga, and my wife even more

Stick out tongue Amigakit

I would like to work from home, online for amigakit.co.uk

Strengths: friendly, confident and enthusiastic
Weaknesses: none
Experience fixing amiga's: not much but I was hoping that you would teach me that as I'm a beginner.
Difficult customer: be calm, relaxed, friendly and tell him/her that problem will be solved as soon as possible
Why I want to work for amigakit: I have always been fascinated and loved amiga since I got my commodore amiga cd32 in Christmas 1993 with some amazing games like superfrog, emerald mines and cannon fodder. You'll probably laugh at this but my first amiga 1200 I got was from amigakit as the amiga magic pack. The diversity of items you sell such as hardware, software, games, magazines, music cd's and gifts appeals to me. Final reason: amiga is different
Salary to be happy with: minimum wage to begin with. Hopefully will increase as i get more experienced and knowledgeable about the electronics and programming involved to repair a machine and when I know more about the items that you stock.

Thank you for your time. Ted hughes

Ability to hold a steady soldering iron after 2 pints of cider

Chocolate and possibly cider.

Does swearing at count as repair?

What is the best way to deal with a difficult customer?

Call the local lads and measure for a set of concrete shoes

Why do you want to work for Amigakit?

Listening to the EAB bickering and knowing that I have ultimate control....mwahhahahahha...cough...choke.

What is your expected salary?

Why be paid when you can do the job you love, only joking, Bill Gates' salary

I contacted amiga future about writing reviews and articles in there magazine and they want me to send them a written test review. Sounds promising. Any chance of an interview then?

Before you submit your test review, be sure to double check your grammar, spelling and punctuation.

To be considered for an interview please answer the following questions:

What are your strengths? - Screaming horde's, the enemy driven from your door, lamentations of atari st owners wives
What are your weaknesses? - Atari st owners
how many years experience do you have fixing amigas? - Lather, rinse, repeat
What is the best way to deal with a difficult customer? - Frighten them with the thought of owning an atari st
Why do you want to work for amigakit? - Do you really need to ask that question lol
What is your expected salary? - Enough to own a porsche 911 with amiga logo's splattered all over it and a decent tailored suit

lol

Haha Didn't check the text properly

I'm not suggesting anything, but as a writer for a magazine (like DDNI said), it's important to know grammar, words and so on Of course I wish fondpondforever all the best.
