Yam 2.9

As soon as I run Yam, it tells me it can't load up the images in
"PROGDIR:resources/...."

What datatypes do the themes need as I think mine might be currupt.

As friendly as the solution is :-)

Can you list which ones are required here as well? that way its also documented for other people who probably run into the same issue.

Hi there

As grateful As i am for that suggestion, YAM says nothing in the read me about needing any specific datatypes and I'm reluctant to go spending £15 on something i might not need. After all I have Yam on other Amiga systems and it works fine. I suspect something else is going wrong here, i'm just not sure.

Okay, I've solved it.

If anyone is coming here with the same problem, get yourself an old Amiga format Cover CD. You need the PNG data type from Classes/Datatypes & Devs/data types.

I copied the entire dir on to CF card before putting it on my A1200. Now I'm just working on getting Gmail working.

I tried as well both with Google Apps and Zoho Mail (on private domains) and couldn't make it work (despite working a year back).
I think you won't manage making it run sadly due to changes on certificates and AmiSSL not supporting recent changes.
IIRC I saw a thread that a new version of AmiSSL and probably YAM will be released in the near feature that will support these changes.
