Some games uses a different version of code/loader dependent to uses CPU or/and available memory. For example SWOS has two game versions on this same disk, similar AceBall or AmberMoon. Perhaps for 2MB of chip this game is fully loaded to RAM by this same crack loader. Perhaps not all possible disk accesess are removed in cracked version. You can check how works (minimal OS and memory config) original version, if you have this game in extended ADF or IPF version.
