2.0.1 hardfile problem
With from version 2.01 my Amikit harddisk image doesn't start, only black screen and nothing happens. I attach winuaebootlog.txt and winuaelog.txt

Attach your config file also. empty=1 in your truncated log is confusing.. |

Ok, my upload limit is gone so I can attach normally.
There is a stream of warning: READ.W from address $e80000=e0ff PC=e7fffe which is probably the problem. Last edited by arti; 25 January 2010 at 23:20. |

You have quite confusing configuration.. (for example you have non-emulated A4000T SCSI enabled)
Make sure it says A4000 (not A4000T) or A1200 in "chipset extra" in chipset panel. (match it with your KS ROM type) Also MMU emulation and address translations are not compatible with UAE harddrive controllers (hardfile or directory harddrive). Your logs shows MMU is not enabled so this isn't the problem but MMU is very rarely needed and it will slow down the emulation. a lot. |

It magically works now with 2.02 beta 5. I tried it before.
There is still bug when changing RAM for example from Z3 Fast 256 MB to 384 MB. Instead of 384 there is 4 MB therefore system can't start. Last edited by arti; 31 January 2010 at 18:38. |
