I was wondering if anyone is familiar with this game Apprentice : Hall Of Light – The database of Amiga games I've grabbed a copy of the manual from the HOL, but i haven't been able to figure out how to activate the leaf item and i also came across another item i didn't even see mentioned in the manual, a silver cup of some sort.

I was hoping maybe someone here had some idea how to use either of these items? I've figured out how to use other stuff like bombs or the mini player item, just not those 2 yet.

EDIT
The cup might be one of those oddball items you trade off to some npcs, but the leaf according to the manual should make me fall slower and jump farther. Not sure if thats supposed to be some sort of passive effect, or if i have to actually activate the item somehow.

Is it possible to view in-game text with some editor? Maybe Oracle have some hints.

i have no idea if that would be possible, someone else would have to try that. I have no experience on doing stuff like that.

On a new note though, i did figure out that the silver cup thing was indeed a item you trade off. Still not real sure about the leaf however. There has been extremely little in game text in any case, mostly just prices in shops sometimes and icons representing stuff. Most of what i've figured out is either from reading the manual i downloaded, or experimentation.

IIRC the leaf is passive and will just let you jump a bit farther.
