[a1200] Stepfive final freeware version released

hi

More than 10 years after the 'first' final shareware version of stepfive, a tetris-like game, we have released the real final version.
Yes, we've decided to correct some bugs and released it as a freeware

So play it, Give us feedback
You can download the game, see some of our a500 demos screens, download 2 demos released on powermac 4400 in 1998/1999 here :
http://ericmcolleco.free.fr/index.ph...en=laprogetmoi

Thanks a lot for reading

see you

Eric

ps : I hope I'm in the right place

*** Below post quoted from another News thread "Stepfive final, debugged and freeware ...". Thought I'd only quote, not merge to leave the game author's post at the top ***

This last version had :

- Some old bugs corrected.

- Improvement of the code (ASM).

With the links, you can see some old productions during 90's years made with Nightlight Team (sorry for the French site only) :

- Screenshots and demos made on Amiga 500. See the Sonic the Hedgehog demo for amiga !!!.

- Stepfive Game, on the part "amiga1200"

The authors are curious to see if some feedback will be made for their old products and wish you a good fun with Step Five.

Would it be possible to make the A500 demos downloadable? I'd like to see "Winny Dotties"

@Ricco59:

I let now ricco59 make post for step five on all the site he want.

- hey, ricco59, I have around 250 post here, and you ?!?

- be carefull ricco59, If you continue to be on the amiga world again, you maybe catch the amiga virus on you again !!! ;-)

hello,

this game has been made around 10 years ago, for 68020 and AGA and PAL. The game need AGA and PAL to be used.

I will release a whdload generic slave on a lha archive for the game soon who will use a whdload generic slave to launch the game from amiga like 68060/voodoo3 (but will allways need a PAL screen).

the slave will simulate a 68020 with no caches/.... and will launch the game on a PAL screen with a whdload generic slave, from a Hardrive.

hope your problem will be solved with this stepfive version who use a whdload slave to be used on high/end amiga from HD (with whdload installed).

thanks for whdload.

@mrodfr: That would be great!!! Thank you.
At the moment I can only use the game from a disk with NOCACHE-option enabled during startup.
