When it comes to the oldie version 0.9 of Disk2FDI, creating FDI 1.0 files using 2 disk drives, it will generally not be a lot better than RAWREAD, and can certainly be worse in many occasions.

If you create FDI 2.0 files using the latest Disk2FDI (registered) version and a Disk2FDI cable, then all chances are that your dumps will work perfectly with WinUAE. I also intend to finish the algorithms to create FDI 2.0 files using 2 drives, but I don't expect them to work so well anyway. It should work better than RAWREAD, but for example I would be surprised if it was able to create a workable image of any Dungeon Master disk.
