Big grin Custom Miggys

Hi there all, been ages since I posted on here, had a bit of a bad year really. My girlfriend for 8 years dumped me I moved into a really crappy apartment and my grandad died!

But on the bright side during moving I re-discovered my amiga 1200

Anyway one night I was spraying up the bumpers for my citroen 2cv with a meatalic effect paint and decided to customise my A1200 a bit and spay is silver.

Anyaways I was wondering what all you guys have done to customise ya miggys and invite ya to post pics and give ideas

wow, looks very nice you should try to get hold of a black CDTV keyboard and swap the keys to complete the effect...

[nag]
but I can see a subwoofer sitting on the DESK behind it subwoofers belong on the FLOOR facing a WALL

Very nice m8!

much like the c64 that on these forums way back.... i forget who done that one?

ive been modding pc's ever since it was an underground art... now it seems everyone must have a modded pc and you can buy cheapy pre-done cases!

anyway! did you prep the case first by sanding it or did you just spray it as is? i swear by using Vynil dye! its made for plastics and means you dont need to sand anything or apply primer which means you keep the original texture so it looks stock!

ages ago i did an a1200 in black and swapped the keys from a cdtv keyboard! it looked ace! i have pictures here somewhere...

The Amiga was just dprayes as is, I found that the scratching and imperfections of the plastic gave a more realisic looking aluminium effect to the casing, think I shall be on the lookout for a cdtv keyboard

Only proper subs, thats only a weak Cambridge labs computer woofer, put it on the floor and you'll have to turn it up to the point its destorting to actually hear it.

But yeah, you needed to go to the website first, then paste the address, if you could fight your way through all of the popups.
