Crossdos 7 crash

I installed crossdos 7 on an A1200 with 68030. clean 3.1 install and suddenly I get errors ( removed the QUIET after setpatch ) like Iprefs out of memory, a guru that says 8000 000B 4400A94A, Something about T:M not found ...

I used installed crossdos 7 before on other machines and never had this problem.

which exact version? 7.04 gold is latest and should work.

you can move the PC* and PC*.info files from sys:devs/dosdrivers/ to sys:storage/dosdrivers/
this way they wont start on initial boot. maybe this is of any help.

I found the problem. I used the iomega tools from the OS3.9 disk and also the mountlists for the zipdrive. Somehow crossdos does not like that when installed on OS3.1 . Not sure why. Maybe because it's a ZIP250 ?

Anyway, I solved it by altering the FAT95 mountlist from my CompactFlash card (CF0) for use with ZIP250 and that works very good. So no need anymore for crossdos.

might be some incompatible wb3.9 device or library, which refuses to work on a 3.1 system.
allways good to have another option to play with
