Crossdos 7 crash
I installed crossdos 7 on an A1200 with 68030. clean 3.1 install and suddenly I get errors ( removed the QUIET after setpatch ) like Iprefs out of memory, a guru that says 8000 000B 4400A94A, Something about T:M not found ...
I used installed crossdos 7 before on other machines and never had this problem. |

which exact version? 7.04 gold is latest and should work.
you can move the PC* and PC*.info files from sys:devs/dosdrivers/ to sys:storage/dosdrivers/ this way they wont start on initial boot. maybe this is of any help. |

I found the problem. I used the iomega tools from the OS3.9 disk and also the mountlists for the zipdrive. Somehow crossdos does not like that when installed on OS3.1 . Not sure why. Maybe because it's a ZIP250 ?
Anyway, I solved it by altering the FAT95 mountlist from my CompactFlash card (CF0) for use with ZIP250 and that works very good. So no need anymore for crossdos. |

might be some incompatible wb3.9 device or library, which refuses to work on a 3.1 system.
allways good to have another option to play with |
