PFS-Defrag Tool - Need Script?

So... Defragging PFS3 drives is the challenge of the day. I downloaded the "PFS-Defrag1.0.lha" tool from Aminet, and started tinkering with it. The tool has a lot of prerequisite parts, but I believe I've found most of them. When I try and run it now, I get an error about path in a script is incorrect. When looking in the documentation for this PFS-Defrag tool, it says put the script anywhere. The lha file did not come with any kind of script. The instructions specifically refer to a script, with specific lines to bypass.

My question is has anyone got this to work? What tools does everyone use to defrag their PFS3 drives?

Back in the days I used http://aminet.net/package/disk/optim/PFS2DefragTry and a self made script to defrag files on PFS3 HD. Btw. if you use a flash based drive don't try to defrag. There is no need for it and would only waste write cycles on the flash drive.

Alternative defrag: Make backup, format (quick) partition, copy backup back to formated partition.

Thanks for the info. I suspected it may be easier to just do that format and reload trick...
