Monkey Island 1 - Not a real problem, but..

Hey there!
There was this thing I used to think about regarding this game. Eventually, I forgot it until seeing recently box scan of the first issue (not Kixx-release) of Monkey Island (found on http://hol.abime.net/). On the back side of the box you can see few screenshots, a cute little dog among them. Now, this dog is probably the one that you can "talk to" in Scumm Bar in the beginning of the game. However, neither PC or Amiga version have that closeup screen of the dog. So, I'm basically wondering whether this doggie-screenshot can be seen on some other version of the game, or is permanently taken out from the game prior to its release?

I remember no doggie screen being in the game, you could have a "conversation" with the dog but no close-up screen i recall.

Well, yeah, I know there is no doggie screen in neither Amiga or PC version of the game, but like mentioned, I've seen the screenshot on one of the game-covers.
So I'm simply wondering whether doggie is featured in one of other avaiable platform-versions.

The close-up of the doggie was removed from the game before the final release, but the boxes had already been printed.
