WHDLoad and Indivision errors.

Hello, anyone else here has get errors when using their ACA-1231 and Indivision AGA 1231 under WHDLoad?
I keep getting Access faults when using MMU like this one.
Exception "Access Fault"" ($B008)
PC = $BD2FEA8 (ExpMem $EA8)
Byte Read from $3FFF4126

I also get Illigal instruction errors but that I get even if MMU is not used:
Exception "illigal instruction" ($10)
at $ABAAAAB0 occured.

When not using MMU I constantly get Line 1010 or 1111 emulator errors like this:
Exception "line 1010 Emulator" ($28)
at $DBA1E86 (ExpMem $77E86)

EDIT:
When I removed the Indivision AGA MK2 all games that kept crashing seems to run fine for alot longer time but then crashed again. I can't get my head around this, when running the Amiga for longer then 10-20 mins it seems it start's to crash games faster, heat issue?
If a heat issue, what is getting to hot? Or could it be an issue with the buffered 4-way EIDE99?

Heat could be a problem. Do you have the included cooler on the 1231 mounted? The Indivision could also suffer from heat problems.

It could also be the famous timing problem. http://leblogdecosmos.blogspot.se/20...fix-a1200.html

Thanks, for your reply!
I have the new ACA with the heatsink mounted.
I seem te be unlucky enough to have a rev 2B board, is there known to be timing problems with the rev 2B board and teh ACA1231?

Hi there,

I get the same errors with my 2b board. The fixes on the site mentioned reduced the number of errors I get but did not eliminate them.

There are more fixes on the site below which may be required. I didn't try. Just went back to an old-fashioned 8mb RAM expansion.

Wait what, you had exactly the same errors and behaviors as me, then it's an timing issue.
And you did the timing fix butt still had some problems? What kind of problems?

I'm not sure if the numbers were exactly the same, I think they depends what game I was trying to play. But similar errors, yes.

I removed the two resistors, that part of the fix is easy and it certainly made it things better. I didn't try the rest of the fixes, they are harder.

As I understand it, the boards all have a lot of variations, even within the 2B category. So what works for yours may not work for mine etc...

som99.. I did also have the same problem as you have. I did the timing fix and mounted some small cooling blocks on the indivision and some other parts the felt hot. I do NOT have any problems after this. Rock solid!

Read this thread for more information, i does include more "fixes" and ideas.

Thank you, I just did set the Max transfer on the CF to 0x1FE00, but after 5 mins in 4D sports driving I got "privilege Volation" error then next time I started the game I got extreme graphics corruption followed by "Adress error".

Is this something you recognize, if so then I will do the Timing fix.

EDIT: Guess what, I applied the Timing fix for my rev 2B board and now everything seems to work just fine! No graphics corruption and the miggy has been running a game for 20 mins without any issues!

I love you guys Thanks alot for all help!

Nice work! I'm jealous of you guys whose 2B boards only needed the easy timing fix!
